alpha phi omega: noun. co-ed service frat, mostly asian, but not an asian interest group, that my sister and co worker are in.
i went to the info session tonight. it was relaly fun and i met a lot of people because i didn't exactly go with anyone and was desperate enough to erally reach out..
i really want to rush, but i barely have time to fit it in! you know? boo!! and the people are nice! its exactly like a fellowship. but without GOd, which is major you know! its weird!! i kept having the mindset that this is a chruch fellowship! cuz everything seemed to work out the same way as a fellowship does. BUT.. suddenly all the guys start making perverted jokes and while we're dancing in teh car, they want to get freaky.............. and i'm like .. AH. right. not everyone is christian. actually, i don't think ANY of them are christian because... this "fellowship" fills the void of needing a church fellowship. its weird. but it also seems like an opportunity to reach out. so i'm not sure. yeah.

do they have parties? what do you do when you rush? any drinking stuff going on there? think hard before you decide to pledge. because once you're in, you can't go out.
Yes. I do not know. They say they're a dry chapter. But, of course, since everyone in aphio is like family, and many peole like to drink... aphio people will drink together..just not in the name of aphio :P i guess
you just have to show up to some events. its not that hard. its relatively cheap. but that really scared me.. when you said once you're in, you can't get out. the theme for this smester is.. "Are You in or Out?" =/ as in Oceans ll. :P
